Four armed people wearing regular police uniforms stole Wednesday a significant amount of money in a well-organized robbery at Sarajevo Airport, the Sarajevo police confirmed, according to dpa. Police spokesman Jusuf Zornic said the armed robbery occurred early afternoon at the Cargo Department of the airport. Zornic did not reveal more details, but the Bosnian media reported 1.3 million euros (1.9 million dollars) was stolen in the robbery. The local police sources said the roads around the airport were blocked for several hours. A similar robbery happened earlier this year in the airport vicinity.
