Sheikh, Egypt, Al-Madinah, Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers said the second round of negotiations will be conducted in inappropriate circumstances due to Palestinian divisions, noting that experiences have taught us that Israeli governments have not made any concessions of significance in the presence of Palestinian differences and weak positions of Palestinian factions. The papers pointed out that Israel should cease settlements and withdraw from the occupied Arab territories as guarantees for lasting peace in the Middle East and it should stop pressures on Palestinians by threatening them. The papers noted that peace with Palestinians will be achieved according to Israeli conditions because of weak positions of Palestinians and Arabs. On Turkish affairs, Al-Jazirah newspaper said that on September 12, 2010, the Turks voted in favor of an amendment to limit the powers of the judiciary and the army, who are considered the strongholds of secularism in Turkey, noting that this result has given the Turkish Government the power to amend the constitution.
