Jazirah newspaper said that President Mahmoud Abbas has announced that he will not run for the presidency of the Palestinian Authority for another term following Israel"s procrastination and the farce of peace process negotiations. It said that U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced that the resumption of peace negotiations should be conducted without preconditions."Meanwhile, the Palestinian authority has put the condition of halting Israeli settlement to resume negotiations". The paper said if negotiations are launched in the process of settlement, they would be considered a waste of time and the position of the Palestinian leadership will be very bad before the Palestinian people who are under Israeli occupation.
