A Saudi relief plane, carrying 77 tons of relief assistance arrived here last night. The relief assistance extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be delivered to the Pakistanis who are affected by the devastating floods. Earlier 22 flights from Saudi Arabia arrived in a number of cities in Pakistan, carrying huge relief assistance. The relief plane was received by Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdul-Aziz al-Ghadeer and a number of Pakistani officials. Dr Ashrat Al-Obad, the Governor of Sind, expressed appreciation for the generous support extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Saudi ambassador said the Saudi relief assistance to Pakistan airlifted in line with Royal directives, has entered its third stage with the arrival of this plane.
