The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) organized here Sunday evening its annual Iftar for diplomats and supporters of its activities in the presence of 500 persons who represent 82 countries The Iftar party, held at Intercontinental Hotel, was attended by a number of Ulema (Muslim scholars), callers, businessmen and media persons. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Salih al-Wohaibi, WAMY's secretary general, underscored the importance of joint values which link different peace-loving nations. He lauded the humanitarian stand of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz and the Saudi government and people for assisting the needy people and said this stand is appreciated by all. --MORE
