Eng. Adel bin Mohammed bin Abdulqader Faqih was sworn in at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah this evening as new Minister of Labor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Taking the oath before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Faqih swore that he would be sincere to his religion, King and country, not to divulge any of the State's secrets, to remain loyal to its interests and systems and to perform his duties with the utmost credibility, faithfulness and sincerity. Following the oath, the minister shook hands with the monarch and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. Then the monarch wished him every success. For his part, Faqih thanked the monarch for the royal confidence bestowed upon him, appealing to Allah Almighty to score all the success. The oath session was attended by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mit'eb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Chief of the Cabinet's Presidency Court, ministers and the Cabinet's Secretary General.
