Pakistan's Prime Minister Sayed Reza Jilani has expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for the support he rendered to Pakistan to enable it overcome the current flood disaster. During a Ramadan Iftar (breakfast) held by Jilani at his residence in Islamabad for the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir, the Pakistani Prime Minister described the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as the leader of the Islamic Ummah (nation), citing the royal order to launch a relief airlift carrying the needed relief materials to several flood-stricken Pakistani cities as well as his directives to launch a popular campaign to raise donations from the Saudi people, resulting in the collection of more than SR400 million to assist the victims of floods in Pakistan.
