Director General of Saudi Customs Saleh bin Maneea Al-Khelawi agreed with his Syrian counterpart Mustafa Al-Baqaiee on a proposed agreement project for the customs cooperation between the two countries. This came during a meeting held between them here today in which they also agreed on the appointment of liaison officers between the customs authorities in both countries and on arranging meetings between officials to achieve mutual cooperation. Both sides also agreed to increase cooperation in the field of customs training to raise skills of their customs staff and to cooperate in the exchange of information and technical and administrative expertise to simplify customs procedures and to flow the movement of bilateral trade, transport and passengers between the two countries.
