MADINA: In a bid to accelerate the clearance of imported good from Egypt through Jeddah Seaport, the Saudi Customs authority has accepted copies of shipment documents and given importers a period of three months' grace to produce the originals. The move follows orders from Saleh Al-Khelawi, Director General of Customs, and Sulaiman Al-Tuwaijri, head of the port's Customs Department, said that importers are also exempted from payments for delays.
