The League of Arab States on Monday asserted the continuation of efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through the aid convoys. Head of the Office of the Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ambassador Hesham Youssef told reporters that there are ongoing efforts to provide aid to the Gaza Strip, adding that the special meetings to send humanitarian relief convoys held by the Arab Parliament at the Arab League headquarters decided to send convoys in batches, the first one was sent last Thursday. He noted that the medical convoy sent by the League to Gaza included 16 dialysis treatment systems and a large quantity of medicines and humanitarian supplies especially the health ones, stressing that there are more to be sent soon, according to a report of KUNA.
