Premier of the Government of Pakistan's Punjab province, Shahbaz Sharif received here this evening Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer, Saudi ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who pays visits to the cities of Punjab province to oversee the arrival of Saudi humanitarian relief airlift to those affected by floods in Pakistan. Following the meeting and in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Shahbaz Sharif hailed the humanitarian positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the people of Pakistan and the start of the second phase of the Saudi humanitarian relief airlift to the cities of Punjab province. He added that this Saudi relief airlift comes as part of the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on standing by the people of Pakistan, pointing out that the Kingdom preceded everyone in sending and delivering its assistance to flood-affected areas.
