Saudi embassy in China celebrates 20th anniversary of Sino-Saudi diplomatic relations

Saudi Ambassador to China, Eng. Yahya bin Abdulkarim Al-Yahiya held a party this evening to celebrate the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the Kingdom fo Saudi Arabia and China.
Ambassador Al-Yahiya emphasized Saudi government's keenness on promoting bilateral relations, citing in this regard, the stance of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during Sichuan earthquake, when he ordered to grant China more than $ 70 million in aid.
"King Abdullah's first visit abroad, since he ascended to the throne, has taken him to China, too, which is a very significant step", the ambassador added.
