Chinese Deputy Minister of Culture and Information, Zhao Shaohua expressed here today appreciation of Saudi endeavor to hold its cultural functions in Beijing, pointing out that these functions are going to put the Chinese so close to the Saudi friendly people's traditions and culture. The Deputy Minister announced that the officials from the two sides began coordinating to hold Chinese cultural days in Riyadh, reciprocally, to achieve cultural exchange between the two peoples'. On his part, the Saudi Ambassador to China, Eng. Yahya bin Abdulkarim Al-Yahiya hailed the Days which he described as bridgeheads for mutual Saudi-Chinese outreach. In a press statement to SPA, Al-Yahiya said that expansion of Saudi-Chinese bilateral relateions culminated in signing of 30 agreements with 13 Saudi universities, and that a forum for dialogue among the youth from both countries, will take place, shortly. -- SPA
