A scientific forum on comprehensive Arab security, organized by the faculty of strategic sciences at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in cooperation with the Arab Thought Forum began here today. Speaking on the occasion, Jordanian Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Naif Al-Qadi underscored the importance of the role of the security organs in the Arab world. Meanwhile, Dr Abdul-Aziz Al-Gamidi, the president of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, said the organization of the forum comes in line with the scientific efforts of the university for tackling security problems. He praised the support being extended to the university by Prince Naif Ibn Abdul-Aziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, and the Arab interior ministers. On the fringes of the forum, NAUSS will organize an exhibition to display its scientific publications in various security domains.
