The value of Saudi non-oil exports in April, 2010, totaled SR 9,621 million, showing a rise of 8% as compared to an amount of SR 8, 922 million fetched during the same month in 2009. A latest report of the Central Department of Statistics & Information (CDSI) received by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) disclosed that petrochemicals topped the Kingdom's list of exports in April (28%) of exports - Valued at SR 3,080 million. Plastic products came second (28%) of exports - Valued at SR 2,692 million. It was followed by 13% of the re-exported commodities worth SR 1, 217 million. In addition to a number of other exports were valued at SR 1, 162 million and Foodstuffs valued at SR 929 million. CDSI also noted that the UAE topped the list of importers followed by China, Singapore, Qatar, and India. At the level of groups, the Kingdom's import partners included non-Arab and Muslim Asian States, the European Union, North America, GCC states, and non-Arab Islamic States respectively. --MORE
