The value of Saudi non-oil exports in last January totaled SR 9,581 million, showing a surge of 21% as compared to an amount of SR 7, 933 million fetched during the same month in 2009. A latest report of Ministry of Economy and Planning, disclosed that petrochemicals topped the Kingdom's list of exports in January ( 32% of exports - Valued at SR 3,075 Million). Plastic products came second (28% of exports - Valued at SR2, 714 Million). It was followed by re-exported products (15% of exports - valued at SR 1, 413 Million), foodstuffs (9% valued at 822 million) and 11% of a number of other exports were valued at SR 1, 035 Million. The report also noted that the UAE topped the list of importers from Saudi Arabia with an amount of SR1,099 million, followed by China SR 1045 million, Singapore SR 548 million, Qatar SR 504 Million, Egypt SR 479 Million and the rest of countries with total amount of SR 5906 Million. --MORE
