Gang leader on federal wanted list killed in Dagestan

So-called leader of the Karamakhinsk gang, 41-year-old resident of Dagestan Dzhamaludin Dzhavatov was killed during a special operation in Dagestan's Karabudakhkentsky region, Deputy Interior Minister of Dagestan Colonel Magomed Ismailov said.
"Dzhavatov was on the federal wanted list for a number of terrorist acts and attempts on the life of law enforcers, including his participation in the last murder of two policemen of Karamakhinsk village police station of the Interior Department of the Buinaksk region committed last Thursday," Itar-Tass quoted the Deputy Interior Minister of Dagestan as saying.
