Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference Professor Ekmel-Eddin Ihsanoglu has urged decision-makers in the OIC member states to work for putting an end to inability of donors through pumping internal investments for implementing development projects of the ten-year program. "There is a growing need for multi-party financing for the such development projects." Ihsanoglu, who was speaking at the 35th annual meeting of the Council of the IDB Governors, held recently in Baku, said "Money available in the Muslim countries is enough for realizing prosperity in the Muslim countries and for generating the required investments so as to resolve economic problems notably easing poverty and development of infrastructure projects as well as ensuring the welfare of the OIC states. Ihsanoglu noted that cooperation among the Muslim countries will encourage the international organizations and partners to extend technical and financial support to the member states. He lauded the growing partnership between the IDB member states and OIC's various organizations. Ihsanoglu highlighted the importance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)signed recently by the OIC General Secretariat and the IDB group as well as the coordination process between the two parties for realizing the goals of the OIC institutions in the field of economic cooperation.
