British Soldier Killed in Explosion in Afghanistan

Britain's Defense Ministry says that a Royal Marine has been killed by an explosion in Afghanistan.
The Ministry said Tuesday that the soldier was killed Monday night by an explosion in Helmand province.
The soldier was not immediately identified, the Associated Press reported.
It was the 301st death of British military personnel or defense staff from incidents in Afghanistan since 2001.
