Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities continues its preparations for the exhibition "Masterpieces of Antiquities of Saudi Arabia", to be organized by Louvre Museum in Paris on June 30. The Commission has completed shipping the antiquities to the Exhibition. The preparations have been followed up by Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities who emphasized the importance of the exhibition to highlight the historical and civilization aspects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He said that this the first time that the Kingdom displays these distinctive and heritage antiquities about its history as well as successive Islamic eras. The Exhibition will feature more than 300 artifacts. It is noteworthy that Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz and Henry Loyrette, Director General of Louvre Museum signed in Riyadh on 21/4/1429H an agreement to hold the Exhibition in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz to hold an exhibition on the Kingdom's antiquities through its eras at Louvre Museum in France.
