The General Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al Al-Sheikh has highlighted the importance of the Saudi Society of the Holy Quran and its Sciences and said a great attention should be given to the Society. Speaking here last night at a ceremony organized by the branch of the Society in Makkah province, he said the Muslims have been honored by the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran is the eternal miracle and the miracle of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace be Upon Him), he said, adding that the Holy Quran is the constitution of the nation and it is a way of life. Al Al-Sheikh urged the Society to undertake supervision on circles of the Holy Quran memorization and provide them with qualified teachers. He lauded the great attention given by the Saudi officials, notably the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz to the Holy Quran. On his part, the Head of the Society's branch in Makkah province Nasser Al-Qathami said the Kingdom has been characterized by defending Islam and it has been holding high the banner of Islam as well as spreading the Islamic Shariah.
