The 29th session of King Abdulaziz international contest for the Holy Quran memorization, recitation, intonation and interpretation, organized by the ministry of Islamic affairs, endowments, call and guidance, began its activities here today. As many as 167 competitors from 96 countries and Islamic societies and organizations are participating in the contest. Sheikh Mohammed Hidayatallah, the member of the Contest's selection committee, said the organization of the contest embodies the great attention being given by the Saudi government to the Holy Quran.
