European Dialogue, the Makkah-based Al-Nadwa said the dialogue between the two parties will positively contribute to further enhancing cooperation, adding that the joint ministerial council of the GCC foreign ministers and their European counterparts, which ended its deliberations in Brussels on Monday, is an important development. The paper noted that the Gulf-European meeting reiterated absolute support to the Arab peace initiative and made it clear that peace in the Middle East is a matter of vital significance for the global security and stability. The paper encouraged the international community to shoulder its responsibility towards peace in line with the call of the Kingdom and the Gulf states in this respect. The paper believes that the Gulf-European meeting was also an important station for extending support to the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz for conducting the dialogue among followers of various religions so as to ensure peace for the entire world.
