Saudi ambassador to Cameroon Mahmoud bin Hussein Kattan has handed over to Head of the office of UN's food program in the capital of Cameroon Khalodo Saliha, the gift extended by the Saudi government to Cameroon amounting to 90 tons of dates. Speaking on the occasion, Saliha praised the support extended by the Kingdom to Cameroon and said Saudi Arabia extended last year $329000 to the office of the UN food program to purchase 215 tons of grains. He noted that the grains were distributed to Central African refugees in Cameroon. Meanwhile, Saudi ambassador Kattan said in line with the Royal directives the Kingdom has allocated 4000 tons of dates for the UN's food program for this year. 90 tons are reserved for Cameroon.
