Minster of Hajj, Dr. Fuad Abdulsalam Al-Farsi said Tuesday the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the progressive era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Ibn Abdulaziz has witnessed significant development and advancement in all sectors. Speaking on the occasion of the 5th anniversary for the ascendance of King Abdullah to the throne, he said the Kingdom has witnessed big strides in the various domains, adding that a promising future is awaiting the country. He noted the big increase in the number of the educational institutions in the Kingdom including King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Dr Al-Farsi also praised the expansion projects implemented in the Holy Places, noting that Al-Jamarat bridge in Mina was implemented at a cost of about SR 4.3 billion. He highlighted the great development achievements attained in the era of King Abdullah.
