The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Japan's Prime Minister Naoto Kan on his election as prime minister of Japan. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King wished the Prime Minister permanent good health and happiness and Japan's people steady progress and prosperity. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also praised the relations between the two countries, stressing the Kingdom's keenness on strengthening such relations in all fields.
