The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Yukio Hatoyama on his election as Japan's Prime Minister. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King wished the Prime Minister permanent good health and happiness and the Japanese people steady progress and prosperity. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques praised the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the Kingdom's keenness on enhancing them in all fields.
