JCCI receives US Congressional delegation

An American delegation comprising senior aides to congressmen discussed here today relations binding the Kingdom and the United States of America on political, economic and educational arenas, and how to boost investements in the two countries and actions to be taken to ease procedures and removes obstacles on their ways.
Dr. Hani Mohammed Abu Ras, Secretary General of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI),
said that the Kingdom is the leading trade partner to USA in the region.
Saudi imports from USA stood at SR 49.9 billion while its exports to the USA stood at SR 148.4 billion, he added.
The pace of growth in their bilateral trade volume has increased by 10 % during 2009, Dr. Abu Ras concluded.
