Prince Sultan ibn Salman bin Abdulaziz, the President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), has expressed thanks and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz and Saudi officials for giving big attention to the first international conference for urban heritage in Islamic countries. Prince Sultan ibn Salman, who was speaking at the final session of the first international conference for urban heritage in the Islamic countries, said the conference has attained great success, adding that the conference was one of the major conferences ever held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that a number of important papers were delivered at the conference. Prince Sultan ibn Salman thanked the media for covering the activities of he conference. He pointed out that the national program for urban heritage will continue for five years in cooperation with the ministry of municipalities and rural affairs.
