JEDDAH: The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) will hold a cultural and urban heritage forum in Jeddah from Oct. 7 to 9, in cooperation with the Jeddah Mayoralty and King Abdulaziz University. Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, President of the SCTA, said the forum is part the recommendations of the first International Conference for Urban Heritage in Islamic Countries, which the SCTA organized previously in cooperation with a number of bodies. He added that it aims to highlight the importance of preserving urban heritage in the Kingdom. The forum's exhibition will be held in the Historic Jeddah area. The photography and crafts exhibition will be held in Bait Naseef.
