Chancellor Merkel visits KAUST

Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel of Federal Republic of Germany
visited King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Thuwal here today within the framework of her current visit to the Kingdom.
Upon arrival at the venue, she was received by KAUST President Professor Chong Fong Shih.
German Chancellor Dr. Merkel was accompanied by Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah bin Ahmed Zainal and a number of officials.
