Dr. Abdulwahid Khalid Al Humeid, the Vice Minister of Labor will lead a tripartite delegation comprising representatives of the government, the private sector and labor Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the 99th session of the International Labor Conference (ILC) due to hosted by the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland, On June 02-18. The session will discuss the report of Juan Somavia, the ninth and current Director-General of the ILO (since 1998) on "The situation of workers of the occupied Arab territories" and his report on "Accelerating action against child labors". It will also review submitted reports on "Decent work for domestic workers," "HIV/AIDS," and "The world of work." Other important reports relate to Information concerning the Programme and Budget for 2010-11 and other financial and administrative questions; Report of the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations and اan information document on ratifications and standards-related activities," said Yahya Nasir Al Yahya, the Director General of International Organizations. The session will also opt for decisions on the organization's general policy, a work programme, and the budget as well as formulate conventions and recommendations.
