The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States praised the efforts exerted by the International Labor Organization (ILO) to promote work fields, enhance freedom values and counter discrimination. This came in a joint speech of GCC Labor Ministers delivered by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bakri, the Omani Manpower Minister, at ILO Conference today. The Head of Saudi Employers Team in the 98th session of the International Labor Conference, Dr. Abdullah Dahlan delivered a speech on behalf of employers during which he hailed the report of the Director General on the situation of Arab workers in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories, calling for an action to stop their suffering. The Deputy Minister of Labor Dr. Abdulwahid bin Khalid Al-Homaid led the Saudi delegation participating in the meetings of the international organization.
