The GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) has participated in the discussion on development of an International Standard providing guidelines for Social Responsibility (SR) named ISO-26000, organized recently by the executive office of GCC labor ministers and the Council of the GCC ministers of Social Affairs in Bahrain. Dr.Anwar Al-Abdullah, the Secretary General of GSO considered the ISO-26000 as the most important draft standards that are set up at the international level to be issued as a guide to establish and confirm the concept of applying the Social Responsibility within the institutions and its role with all parties concerned of individuals and communities.
