Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, President of the Human Rights Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today explained that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's International Prize for Translation enhances humans' right in knowledge, education and get-acquainted of others experiences and know-how and in getting benefit from them for better life. In a statement to mark the giving away of the prize at the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris yesterday, Al-Aiban suggested that the launching of this prize by the monarch matches with his initiatives for dialogue among followers of different religions, civilizations and cultures and achieves rapprochement among countries and peoples of the world. He said the naming of the prize after King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud reflects the monarch's far-sighted vision of the importance of accepting different views and keenness to benefit from the output of other civilizations and cultures. He drew the attention to the importance of putting the outcome of this prize into reality.
