Fire that broke out overnight to Sunday on the third story of an apartment block in northern Moscow claimed the life of one person and left several more people injured, a source at Moscow City's Interior Department said. The incident occurred in a twelve-story block on Zelenogradskaya Street in northern Moscow. "A man's body was found in the apartment where the blaze broke out," Itar-Tass quoted the source as saying. "Some people had to jump out of the windows of lower stories before the arrival of firefighters and several others got intoxication with smoke," he indicated, adding that physicians do not find the condition of the injured problematic. Although the overall area taken up by the blaze did not exceed 50 square meters, a part of the house's residents were evacuated. At the time of reporting, experts were clearing out the causes of the fire.
