Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, who is also head of the surgical and medical team to conduct a separation surgery for a Jordanian Siamese twins, announced this evening the success of the operation to separate Mohammed and Amjad, two male twins who were rushed from Amman, Jordan, to Riyadh recently to have the surgery performed under directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at his own expenses. Following a very complicated 7-hour operation, the result is a complete success for the twins whose situation is now stable at the intensive care unit at King Abdulaziz Medical city of the National Guard in Riyadh, Al-Rabee'a said, adding that 70 consultants and specialist doctors and nurses and 200 of the support team took part in the operation.
