Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, who also led a Saudi medical team to conduct a medical operation to separate an Iraqi Siamese twins, today declared the operation which took place at King Abdulaziz medical city in Riyadh a success. In a press conference following the surgery which was performed upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at his own expenses, Dr. Al-Rabee'a congratulated the monarch, his Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier on the success of the humanitarian endeavor to separate Zainab and Ruqayyah, two Iraqi female Siamese. He also conveyed the congratulations of the Saudi leadership to the parents of the patients on the success of the operation. Dr. Al-Rabee'a announced that a specialist pediatrics hospital will be established at King Abdulaziz Medical city to be named after King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for treating the Siamese cases.
