Uthaymeen said the Cabinet discussed a number of reports on the developments at Arab and international arenas as well as the Kingdom's stance towards them. The Cabinet condemned the actions of Israeli occupation authorities to expel thousands of Palestinians (the original natives of the land) from the occupied West Bank. The Cabinet stressed that holding the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington (in which the Kingdom participated) is a step in the right direction to prevent smuggled nuclear materials from falling in the hands of terrorist organizations. The Cabinet renewed the Kingdom's stance demanding the Middle East region and the Arab Gulf to remain free of weapons of mass destruction, particularly nuclear weapons. The Acting Minister of Culture and Information also said that the Cabinet praised the issuance of the royal order establishing King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, looking forward to its increasing the rate of development, granting the Kingdom the know-how capabilities, in accordance with international agreements and treaties on the peaceful use of energy; and providing the necessary materials for medical, agricultural and health uses that meet national needs. --More
