A federal judge was shot dead in Moscow on Monday morning. An armed attack on the judge was made in Strelbishchensky bystreet. The judge, Eduard Chuvashov, was found in the doorway of an apartment block at 24, Strelbishchensky bystreet, a law enforcement source told Itar-Tass. Forensic examination established the judge died of several gunshot wounds in his head and chest. A group of investigators arrived on the scene; they are doing their best to recreate the circumstances of the murder, questioning tenants and passers-by who might have seen the murderer.
