Istisqa (Rain-Seeking) prayers were performed throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday morning in pursuant of the Prophet's Sunnah (Traditions) in case of drought and late rains. Muslims prayed to Allah Almighty for rain-fall. The prayers were performed in universities and schools in various regions of the Kingdom. Prayers were performed in the Holy Mosque in Makkah. The prayers were attended by Undersecretary of Makkah Governorate Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Khudhairi, and President- General for the Holy Mosque and Prophet Mosque's Affairs Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussein. Prayers were also performed in the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. The prayers were attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Province.
