Istisqa (Rain-Seeking) prayers were performed throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday morning in pursuant of the Prophet's Sunnah (Traditions) in case of drought and late rains. Muslims prayed to Allah Almighty for the rain-fall. The prayers were performed in universities and schools in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prayers were performed in the Holy Mosque in Makkah. The prayers were attended by Undersecretary of Governorate of Makkah Region Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Khudhair. Prayers were also performed in the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. The prayers were attended by Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Majed bin Abdul-Aziz, the Governor of Madinah Region.
