Sudais said "Terrorism runs counter to moderation and leads to sedition and disunity. The phenomenon of terrorism could be tackled through spreading proper knowledge of Islam in addition to opting for deterrent measures against terrorists." He urged the Ulema (Islamic Scholars) to shoulder their responsibility as regards guiding the youth and giving more attention to the intellectual security. Dr Sheikh Al-Sudais called for a civilization project that takes into account the teachings of the religion in a number of languages as well as establishment of a channel specialized in affairs of security and means of combating terrorism. --MORE
