The German Federal Minister of Traffic, Building and Urban Development, Dr. Peter Ramsauer, has signed together with the Director General of the National Transport Authority, H.E. Dr. Nasser Saif Al Mansoori a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of the railway sector. Both sides underlined their interest in conducting intensive exchange and cooperation in various issues of the transport sector, such as railway transport, transport safety and technology systems. Besides that Dr. Peter Ramsauer held talks with governmental officials and representatives of German companies in Abu Dhabi. The visit underlines the importance of the strategic partnership between both countries, WAM reported. The MoU was inked on the sidelines of the three-day 15th International Road Safety on Four Continents Conference being hosted by the UAE.
