Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has stressed that Israel continues violating the human rights under the pretext of combating terrorism. Delivering a speech on behalf of OIC before the Human Rights Council, the Pakistani ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Zamir Akram, said that Israel is using internationally prohibited proscribed munitions against the civilian population in utter disregard of international law. OIC also welcomed the recommendations of the report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, which pointed to the Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, blaming the occupation the main cause of all violations of human rights there.
