Vice President of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Muhammad Waheed Hassan invited here yesterday Saudi businessmen to take advantage of investment opportunities in his country in a various economic sectors particularly fisheries and tourism. He emphasized the strong ties with the Kingdom which will help in enhancing their commercial relations to serve the interests of their peoples. Addressing a meeting with Saudi businessmen at Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, he lauded Saudi economic performance and the promising investment opportunities it holds. The Maldives' government has a good interest in foreign investors, and that his country is an open door one with diverse investment opportunities, he added, expressing hope that the next coming span of time will witness more commercial bilateral cooperation. Finally, he invited Saudi businessmen to visit the Maldives to be acquainted with investment opportunities, specially that entry visa is given immediately on arrival to the Maldives to businessmen and investors.
