Vietnams President Nguyen Minh Triet's addressed here today Majlis Al-Shura stressing his country's keenness to promote relations with the Kingdom in all fields, and pushing it forward for the sake of their peoples' interests. The President pointed out the main issues he discussed with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, during their talks yesterday, and the agreements they reached to improve bilateral co-operation in various arenas. Volume of bilateral trade exchange has exceeded $ 455 million a figure that stand short considering the potentials of the two countries, he said, and that the two sides agreed to increase it, he added. A lot of common grounds of convergence are there for the two countries since the Kingdom is a leading economic powerhouse and Vietnam, in turn, is full of investment opportunities in fisheries, livestock and agriculture, he said. Vietnam could secure the Kingdom's demand for working force plus its readiness to facilitate Saudi investment by easing issuing of entry visas for Saudi businessmen. -- SPA
