Maldives' Vice-President Dr. Mohammed Waheed Hassan has expressed his country's pride of its relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising the Kingdom's scientific and industrial progress, thanks to the directives of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier. In a meeting with the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisi, the Maldivian Vice President expressed his country's desire for enhancing trade and investment relations with the Kingdom, particularly between the private sectors in the two countries, noting that Maldives has investment opportunities in the field of tourism and fisheries. On his part, Al-Jeraisi said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been witnessing tremendous progress and development in all fields.
