Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, who is also Chairman of Supreme Committee for Endowments of King Saud University (KSU) chaired here on Saturday the Committee's 2nd meeting. Addressing the meeting, the Prince noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has been establishing many endowment foundations in the field of housing as well as assisting the poor and needy people, adding that the Crown Prince has also been establishing and supporting many charities. He stressed that charitable works have been supported by all officials in the Saudi Government. Prince Salman emphasized the importance of supporting the University's endowments for the development of educational process and promotion of educational achievements and scientific research in the University. In his speech, the University's Rector Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Othman expressed his thanks to Prince Salman for his support for the University. Then, the Prince inaugurated Prince Salman Program for Loyalty to the University. The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, a number of princes, ministers and officials.
