The Board of Jeddah for the development of human resources, an affiliate of Jeddah's chamber of commerce and industry, has announced that "Tasheel" office has contributed to training more than 3000 Saudi youth and issued 7000 visas within the framework of a comprehensive plan to assist companies and establishments effectively in the field of comprehensive development. Dr Lima Al-Suleiman, the chairwoman of the board, said Tasheel office was established to activate a memorandum of understanding issued by Jeddah chamber of commerce and industry in 2008 in cooperation with the Ministry of labor. The office is also concerned with Saudization of jobs and fighting illusive Saudization. She pointed out that the Jeddah chamber is committed to realizing the goal desired by the private sector and the Ministry of labor as regards carrying the comprehensive plan of the Saudi government to Saudize jobs and making job opportunities available for the Saudi youth. Meanwhile, Mohammed al-Harbi, the executive director of the board, said Tasheel office was able within about 18 months to make 1,746 job opportunities available for the Saudi youth at various companies.
